Terms of Service

1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to PanelX ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), an adult digital comics subscription service operated in the Republic of the Philippines. By accessing or using PanelX — including browsing, registering, subscribing, uploading content, or reading any material — you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Age Restriction and Eligibility

PanelX is strictly for adults aged 18 years and older. By accessing the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age;
• You are legally permitted to access adult content in your jurisdiction;
• You are not accessing the Platform from a jurisdiction where such content is prohibited by law;
• You have truthfully confirmed your age through the Platform's age verification gate.

We reserve the right to terminate any account we reasonably believe belongs to a minor, without refund and without prior notice.

3. Subscription Plans and Payments

PanelX offers the following paid subscription tiers. There is no free access to content.

All payments are processed through PayPal. By subscribing, you authorize recurring billing on your chosen cycle. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The trial offer (₱20 for 3 days) is available once per device and automatically converts to a Basic monthly subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends.

Users who prefer to pay via GCash may contact our support team through Facebook Messenger. Manual GCash payments are subject to verification and may take up to 24 hours to activate.

4. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the content provided, all subscription fees are non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by applicable Philippine consumer protection law. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 7 days of the charge at [email protected].

5. Content Standards and Prohibited Material

PanelX hosts adult artistic content (comics and illustrated works) intended for mature audiences. All content on the Platform — whether uploaded by administrators or by users — must strictly comply with the following standards:

• All depicted characters must be adults (18 years of age or older). This applies to all fictional, illustrated, and artistic depictions regardless of whether the characters are real or imaginary.
• Content depicting minors in sexual or suggestive situations is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of Republic Act No. 9775 (Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009). Violators will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
• Content depicting non-consensual sexual acts presented approvingly is prohibited.
• Content involving real persons without their documented consent is prohibited.
• Content that violates Republic Act No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012) or Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code is prohibited.
• Copyrighted material uploaded without proper licensing or authorization is prohibited.
• Video content, animated GIFs, and any moving-image formats are not permitted. The Platform supports static images only (JPG, JPEG, PNG).

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards without notice and to terminate the accounts of repeat violators.

6. User-Submitted Content

Premium subscribers may submit original comic content for publication on the Platform. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the original creator and sole owner of the submitted content, or you have obtained all necessary rights and permissions;
• The content complies fully with Section 5 of these Terms;
• You grant PanelX a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote the content on the Platform.

All user-submitted content is subject to admin review and approval before publication. We reserve the right to reject any submission without explanation.

7. User Profiles and Reading History

Users may set their reading history and profile to Public or Private. Public profiles and reading histories are visible to other registered users of the Platform. Private profiles are visible only to the account holder. You may change your privacy setting at any time from your profile settings.

8. Community Features

Users may post comments and ratings on comics. By posting, you agree not to submit content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or otherwise unlawful under Philippine law, including Republic Act No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012). We reserve the right to remove any comment and suspend any account that violates these standards.

9. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. PanelX shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

10. Intellectual Property

All original content created by PanelX, including but not limited to the platform design, branding, logo, and original comics, is the exclusive intellectual property of PanelX and is protected under applicable Philippine and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from PanelX's proprietary content without prior written consent.

Public domain content hosted on the Platform remains in the public domain. User-submitted content remains the intellectual property of the respective creators, subject to the license granted in Section 6.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PanelX and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to PanelX in the 30 days preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of the Republic of the Philippines.
